| 1st and 3rd Place at Niles Expo Center Bike Show 2008 |
It's that time of year again! The 2nd Annual Niles Expo Center Bike show kicked off the riding season this
year. I entered 2 bikes in the show, and they took 1st and 3rd Place......not a bad showing if I do say so myself.
The "Blue Fire" Yamah V-Star 1100 was built and owned by Justin Svihra, owner of Millenium Cycles.
Many modifications were added and fabricated on this stock frame, including stretching the tank, raking the front end, wheels,
and fenders just to name a few. The bike took over a year to build, piece by piece, and slowly transformed into what
you see today. The bike took about 2 weeks to paint, and was finished just in time for the show. It impressed
the judges and the crowd, and was awarded 1st place in it's catagory.
The "Porn Fire" Harley Davidson
is a stock 2007 Harley Davidson Road King, AKA "Road Queen" The Road Queen is owned by Angela Isabella, from
Pittsburgh, PA. When Angela bought the bike, she road it directly from the dealership to my shop for paint. It
was a stock black Road King. In less than 72 hours, it was transformed into the "Road Queen" and driven away.
This one of a kind fire scheme was awarded 3rd place in it's category.
The
Road Queen was also featured in AirBrush Technique Magazine, issue # 19 in a 3 page layout on realistic fire
painting techniques.

Big Daddy is published again! This time featured
in AirBrush Technique Magazine, issue # 21. The etched metal and candy look is so classy and unique,
I just had to do an article on it. I was able to combine many of the things I love most into this one piece of art.
I Combined etched metal, sandblasting, and candy paint with a tribal crest and just a big 'ol pile of skulls.
It is something that I really got into. There are 50 skulls piled on this panel, and had over 35 hours of work to complete.
